With updated information on HIV/AIDS in pregnancy and birth, breastfeeding, preventing infection, and family planning, Un libro para parteras also includes new chapters on pelvic exams, IUD insertion and removal, helping a woman when a pregnancy ends early, and manual vacuum aspiration.
